NIGERIA'S federal government has agreed to pay a total of N88bn ($242.3m) to Ndigbo as compensation for the losses they suffered during the civil war which led to the loss of about 2m lives.

Angry mob beats Ibori into a stupor in Warri for burgling a shop before handing him over to the police

AN irate mob beat up a 22-year suspected thief named Jeffry Ibori nearly killing him in Warri the commercial hub of Delta State after he burgled a shop along the Cinema Site link road in Okumagba Layout.

 

Apparently, the suspected thief was caught by one of the traders who had been monitoring him following missing items in his shop and that of his neighbours. After spotting Mr Ibori, the trader raised the alarm, which attracted his neighbours and other passers-bys.
