Now that insecurity has taken over from power supply as our number one problem, President Buhari has to make restoring peace in the northeast where weapons enter Nigeria his main priority over the next two years. He needs a programme that looks like this

[1] Register and licence local vigilante groups in all 774 local government areas

[2] Establish 20 battalions of the Nigerian Army in strategic towns across the north east

[3] Commence building of a tow of trees along the borders with Chad/Cameroon/Niger to actually tell us where Nigeria starts

[4] Offer free uniforms and school meals to all youths in the northeast to encourage education

[1] The federal government wholeheartedly opposes open grazing and will be sending a bill to the National Assembly making it illegal nationwide 

[2] This government will set up a presidential panel to review the 2014 National Confab report on restructuring and make recommendations to the Federal Executive Council. By October 1, a draft bill will be prepared for forwarding on to the National Assembly
