Palace ready to listen to reasonable offers for Nigeria-eligible midfielder David Ozoh

NIGERIA-eligible midfielder David Ozoh looks set to leave Uefa Conference League champions Crystal Palace probably for continental Europe as several clubsides have made enquiries about securing his services.

Born in Valencia to Nigerian parents but brought up in the UK, Okoh, qualified to play for Spain, Nigeria and England, is being highly sought after despite being involve in Palace's pre-season preparations. His admirers abroad include French Ligue One giants Marseille and three-time German champions Cologne.

According to Football Insider, Premier League new boys Hull City and Championship outfit Derby County are also among the clubs interested in the Crystal Palace academy graduate. In search of regular first-team football, Ozoh spent the past two seasons on loan at Derby County, where he made 47 appearances in all competitions and scored three goals.

Although he has impressed Crystal Palace's new manager during pre-season, the Eagles are reportedly willing to sanction Ozoh's sale if a significant offer arrives. Ozoh, 21, has been on the books of Crystal Palace since the age of eight, rising through the ranks to make his first team debut in a Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

With the commencement of the new season, Ozoh will enter the final year of his contract with Crystal Palace. Not wanting to lose him on a free transfer, the club will be keen to sell him if a reasonable offer comes in.
