West Ham and Everton join bidding war for Manchester City's Kelechi Iheanacho

SUPER Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has sparked flurry of interest from several Premiership and European clubs after Manchester City indicated that he would be put up for sale at the end of the season.

Iheanacho, 20, started off as one of Manchester City's best players this season, scoring 21 goals in 63 games, with most of these appearances coming as a substitute. Over recent months, however, he has struggled to get into the starting line-up and it looks certain that he will leave the club at the end of the current campaign.

With City now resigned to losing one of their brightest youngsters, the likes of West Ham, Everton, Borussia Dortmund, Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen have all expressed an interest in buying him. Manchester City has already indicated that it is prepared to listen to offers for Iheanacho as it needs the cash to in other transfer dealings over the summer.

Everton is said to be set to pitch in with a £20m bid for Iheanacho as manager Ronald Koeman is reported to be a big fan of the striker. Since January, Iheanacho has slipped down the pecking order at Manchester City following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus.
