EKITI Magistrates Court has sentenced 36-year-old Ige Omotosho to six months imprisonment without the option of a fine for stealing a basket of kolanuts valued at N10,000 ($27.50).

Mr Omotosho, whose address was not provided, allegedly committed the offence on June 7 at about 5pm at Ologbara-Gbara farm in Iyin-Ekiti. Prosecutor, Sergeant Olubu Apata, told the court that the convict went to the farm of Mr Obalore Ogunjemilua and stole a bag of kolanuts valued at N10,000.
