Coza founder Pastor Fatoyinbo faces fresh accusation of raping married pregnant woman

COMMONWEALTH of Zion Assembly (Coza) founder Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has come under a fresh attack after a pregnant woman accused him of raping her while he was a minister in Ilorin several years ago.

In July, Pastor Fatoyinbo was accused by Busola Dakolo, the wife of musician Timi Dakolo, of raping her in Ilorin years ago. Media attention the case has attracted forced Pastor Fatoyinbo to stand down as Coza's general overseer but he has since resumed preaching and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has launched an investigation into the rape allegations.

Last week, another woman accused him of raping her and two of his former spiritual mentors admitted that they had treated several cases of rape allegations against Pastor Fatoyinbo in the past when he was still running his ministry in Ilorin. On Arise TV Pastor Busola Olotu of Daughters of Deborah International Ministries and Pastor Emmanuel Oset of Canaan Ministries, also known as Champion’s Church admitted that Pastor Fatoyinbo's misdeed  had come to their attention before.

While Pastor Olotu was a mentor, Pastor Oset on the other hand was once Pastor Fatoyinbo’s spiritual father who officially ordained him into ministry back in Ilorin before the Abuja explosion and fame. In the hour-long interview, the duo tacitly revealed that Pastor Fatoyinbo allegedly had a history of rape allegations when he was in Ilorin.

It was also revealed that there were some cases that did not get exposed because of their sensitive nature. One of such was that of a married woman, who alleged that the said pastor raped her in her husband’s house in Ilorin while she was pregnant.

After the Arise TV expose, Pastor Fatoyinbo has been dropping cryptic messages on his Instagram page, alluding that his accusers were targeting him in a calculated attempt to tarnish his image. He has accused his attackers of being misguided by ingratitude, envy and jealousy.
