Everton and West Ham express an interest in Ola Aina after Torino says it is open to offers

ENGLISH Premier League sides West Ham and Everton have indicated an interest in signing Super eagles fullback Ola Aina after his Italian club Torino revealed that it will be ready to listen to offers at the end of the season.

Aina, 23, joined Torino at the start of the 2019/20 season in a €10m deal after having spent the previous campaign there on loan from Chelsea. Coming through the Chelsea youth ranks, Aina is a versatile fullback who can play on either flanks and is very attack minded with his constant forays forward.

He has since established himself as a Super Eagles regular, playing as either a rightback or leftback and during recent African Nations Cup qualifiers, he became a major provider for goals. However, Torino appear to be prepared to cash in on Aina, claiming that he has not been consistent enough, so are open to offers.

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti and West ham boss David Moyes have both expressed an interest in securing Aina's services. However, Torino have made it clear will not accept a loss on the €10m they paid to sign Aina from Chelsea.

This season, Aina has made 23 appearances for Torino in Serie A, picking up six yellow cards in the process. On Saturday, he provided an assist for his side in their 4-2 loss against Cagliari in Serie A which made Torino drop to 13th place in the Serie A table, six points above the drop zone with 10 games left to play.
