Newly promoted Bournemouth look to bring Ola Aina back to the English Premier League

NEWLY-promoted English Premier league side Bournemouth are planning to bring Super Eagles fullback Ola Aina back from Italy after the club initiated enquiries with his Serie A side Torino.

Aina, 25, is no stranger to the Premier League as two seasons ago, he spent a season-long loam with Fulham, where he played under former Spurs legend Scott Parker. Now, Mr Parker is the Bournemouth manager and the two could end up being reunited ahead of the new season down on the south coast.

After Mr Parker helped the Cherries earn promotion back to the Premier League, he is being backed by the club's board to invest solidly in the team. Aina, who had a topsy-turvy season the last term has his eyes set on a Premier League return after struggling to become favourite at Torino following his decision to go to the African Cup of Nation earlier in the year.

At the moment, Mr Parker is looking to reinforce his defence and considers the versatile Aina as a good fit for the club as he can play a range of positions in different systems. If Aina goes to Bournemouth, he will meet up with his old pal Dominic Solanke, with whom he was teammates at the Chelsea Academy.
