Nigeria's Five Year Awalokan Industrial Development Plan 2023-2028

[1] Between 2023 and 2028, a nationwide railway network will be constructed linking all 774 local government areas together

[2] Between 2023 and 2028, Nigeria will move towards allowing each of its 36 federating units to control the resources within their domain. By 2028, they will only have to remit 50% of all monies received to the federal government

[3] To help the states get through this transition programme, all 36 of them will be given oil blocks in the Niger Delta which were previously handed to individuals

[4] Over the next five years, we will move towards value addition to every agricultural commodity we produce. By 2028, it will be illegal to export any product from Nigeria without at least 50% value addition

[5] By 2028, every building in Nigeria must have at least one solar panel installed on its roof tops

[6] The Christian Association of Nigeria and the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs will be compelled by law to open at least one factory for every five places of worship their members open

[7] Every single one of our 774 local government areas must open and run a technical vocation college

[8] Federal, state and local governments will be compelled to include a caveat that any foreign company supplying them with goods in excess of N1bn must by law open a manufacturing facility in Nigeria to produce such goods. As from 2028, companies with no presence in Nigeria will be struck off our list of suppliers

[9] By 2028, Nigeria will strive to move at least 60m rural agrarian workers off the land and into factories. This will free up land for largescale commercial agriculture. The goal is to make farming fully mechanised by 2028

[10] Every local government, state and industrial park must have at least one power source by 2028. It could be wind, solar, gas-fired or hydro. States and local governments must also establish mini and micro distribution grids. The idea is to end this unsustainable reliance on the national grid
