[1] All of Nigeria's 774 local government areas will be obliged by law to organise their farmers into cooperative units
[2] Farmers will be encouraged to sell their produce, buy seedlings, pesticides and fertilisers, as well as farming equipment through these co-operatives to maximise efficiency and overhead costs
[3] Every local government area must build at least one food storage facility within its domain

DIASPORA umbrella body the Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (Canuk) has issued a statement on developments sorrounding fast track passport applications in the UK. Signed by chairman Ayo Akinfe, general secretary Abidemi Bada and publicity secretary Rose Graham, the statement which was approved unanimously by its excutive committee, states the association's response to ongoing developments sorrounding the matter.

[1] Team sports - When I was in secondary school, we participated in team sports every day. Handball, basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, etc were events in which we were all trained. Across the spectrum we had national games festivals for universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, police colleges, etc, in which talent emerged. We then had the National Sports Festival which produced the crème de la crème. Surely this can easily be revived
