THREE policemen have been arrested amid suspicion that they robbed the Abuja residence of former president Dr Goodluck Jonathan and carted away valuables which were later found put up for sale in the market.
According to police authorities, the trio were employed to guard the former president's private home in Gwarimpa Estate in Abuja. Following their arrest, the policemen admitted to selling some of the items which they allegedly stole from the house.

NIGERIAN-born councillor Chika Amadi has been suspended from the Labour Party for making intolerant homophobic comments about lesbians and gays by describing them as paedophiles.
Councillor Amadi, who has been a member of in Harrow Council since 2014, has been accused of spreading anti- lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) messages on her social media accounts. She recently posted a message on Twitter describing gay pride marchers as paedophiles.
