Nigerians may not be aware of it but Japan, which suffered a New Year’s Day earthquake is the most earthquake-prone nation on the planet. Nigeria needs to enter into a mutual exchange agreement with Tokyo on the matter

Ayo Akinfe

[1] If we do not accept our shortcomings, we are never going to overcome them. Our problems in Nigeria are multi-faceted but they can be narrowed down to three things - we produce too little, intellectual laziness and ostentation greed. In 1922, Frederick Lugard spotted all this and summed us up perfectly in his book Dual Mandate

Ayo Akinfe

[1] Pass a law making your state of birth your state of origin

[2] Pass a law making it compulsory to grant indigent status to anyone who has lived in a state for five years

[3] Categorise the use of the word tribe as hate speech. Only animals live in tribes. Europeans never refer to themselves as coming from tribes. Using the word tribe should attract a 12 month jail sentence
