I for one am eager to see who gets the transport folio in Tinubu’s cabinet. Whoever that person is needs to come up with a policy framework that looks like this

[1] Nigeria will have a high speed rail network that will be constructed across the country over the next 20 years linking all 36 states tow national network

[2] Road maintenance is to be given back to the states. The Federal Ministry of Works will ensure funds are disbursed to state governments to cater for stretches that fall within their domains

[2] Pass a law making it compulsory to grant indigent status to anyone who has lived in a state for five years

[3] Categorise the use of the word tribe as hate speech. Only animals live in tribes. Europeans never refer to themselves as coming from tribes. Using the word tribe should attract a 12 month jail sentence
