[1] When I hear Nigerians complain about petrol price rises, I feel like tearing my hair out of my head. Have they been oblivious to the whole clean energy debate? Where have they been when the rest of the human race has been screaming about the need to abandon the use of fossil fuels?

DIASPORA body the Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (Canuk) has arranged a coach trip to Brighton beach on Saturday August 19 as part of its community bonding programme aimed at fostering togetherness.
In a first such programme of its kind, Canuk has hired two coaches that will leave from Euston and North Greenwich stations in London at 8.30am on August 19. They will travel to Brighton beach for the day and then leave at 4.30pm in the evening.
