NIGERIAN Army troops have mounted raids on the military camps of the Indigenous People of Biafra (Ipob) and its armed wing the Eastern Security Network (ESN) in Delta State arresting 13 individuals in the process.

[1] 12 specialist hospitals shall be established in Nigeria with two in each geo-political zone. These shall include - Dermatology, optometrics, renal failure, cardialogy, neurology, ear/throat/nose, cancer, Hiv/Aids, orthopedia, rheumatics, tropical diseases and sickle cell anaemia

[2] Pharmaceutical companies will be given 10 year tax holidays if they establish manufacturing facilities in Nigeria

[1] All receipts that accrue from crude oil in excess of $60 a barrel should go into a special infrastructure fund

[2] All receipts that accrue from crude oil in excess of $80 a barrel should go into a special economic diversification fund

[3] All receipts that accrue from prices in excess of $100 a barrel should go into a dedicated clean energy fund

Amnesty International condemns northern senators for failing to table anti-bandit laws

SENATORS representing the 19 states of northern Nigeria in the National Assembly have been criticised by Amnesty International as not doing enough to protect their constituents from terrorists and bandits who are being constantly terrorised.

[1] Lagos State: Our commercial capital currently accounts for about one quarter of Nigeria's gross domestic product (GDP) and one third of non-oil GDP. However, we need to built on it and turn it into an international financial centre that matches London which generates $650bn a year or New York which generates $1.4trn a year.

[1] Cotton production will be expanded to match Pakistan’s 2.3m tonnes through the provision of single digit loans and hybrid seedlings to farmers. Nigeria currently produces only 105,000 tonnes which is not enough to sustain a local manufacturing industry

[2] A Nigerian Tailors Guild will be formed as part of a regulatory regime. Only registered members will be authorised to sew clothes for members of the public

[1] We will set ourselves a target of ensuring that by 2030, every 16/17 year old girl child is either in full time education or learning a vocational trade at a technical college

[2] Unesco advised Nigeria to spend 26% of her national budget on education. As from January 2026, we will ensure we meet that target unfailingly annually
