Amnesty International condemns northern senators for failing to table anti-bandit laws

SENATORS representing the 19 states of northern Nigeria in the National Assembly have been criticised by Amnesty International as not doing enough to protect their constituents from terrorists and bandits who are being constantly terrorised.

Like the rest of Nigeria, I am still waiting for the ADC alliance to publish their policy manifesto. I look forward to seeing a document like this which sets production targets for states

[1] Each of Nigeria's 774 local government areas must organise at least one sporting event a year

[2] Scholarships must be provided by state governments for exceptional sporting talents. They will be educated up to university level at specialist sports academies

[3] There will be a National Sports Festival held at least once a year, to which all states are compelled to participate
