Glasgow Rangers join the race to sign Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Yusuf from Gothenburg

SCOTTISH champions Glasgow Rangers have joined the race to sign Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Yusuf from Swedish side IFK Gothenburg ahead of the forthcoming 2021/22 season.

 

Yusuf, 20, who joined Gothenburg from FC Hearts Nigeria three years ago, was voted Young Player of the Year in the Swedish top flight last season. English Premier League new boys Brentford are also being linked with Yusuf, who only has one year left on his contract at the Gamla Ullevi Stadium in Sweden.

Edwin Clark warns that if PIB is passed into law oil companies will be evicted from the Niger Delta

PAN Niger Delta Forum (Pandef) leader Chief Edwin Clark has rejected the recently-passed Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) saying the new piece of legislation only gave oil host communities 3% of the revenue accrued against their requested 10%.
