SCOTTISH champions Glasgow Rangers have joined the race to sign Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Yusuf from Swedish side IFK Gothenburg ahead of the forthcoming 2021/22 season.

Yusuf, 20, who joined Gothenburg from FC Hearts Nigeria three years ago, was voted Young Player of the Year in the Swedish top flight last season.
