[1] With the passing of this bill, Nigeria hereby scraps all laws which limit a woman's right to inherit family property

[2] Child marriages have henceforth become criminalised immediately with a minimum 10 year prison sentence for convicted criminals. This applies to anyone who marries a girl under the age of 16
