NIGERIAN playmaker Ovie Ejaria is poised to end his six-year association with English Premier League champions Liverpool and join Championship side Reading where he spent last season on loan in a £3.5m deal .

NIGERIA'S three petroleum refineries have incurred losses totalling N142.07bn ($380m) over the last 12 months as a result of staying idle while they chalk up huge operating expenses at a time when they are not generating any revenue.

Nigerian lawyer Kaycee Madu appointed justice minister in Canada's Alberta province

 

NIGERIAN-born legal luminary Kaycee Madu has been appointed as the justice minister and solicitor general of the Canadian province of Alberta as the ongoing ethnic diversification of the government.

 

Mr Madu, 47,  was born and raised in southeast Nigeria and graduated from the University of Lagos with a law degree in 2001. He has practised law in both Nigeria and Alberta and he and his wife relocated to Canada in 2005.

Hundreds of Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia successfully evacuated back to Abuja

 

NIGERIA has successfully evacuated 372 of her citizens stranded in Saudi Arabia during the coronavirus lockdown flying them to Abuja yesterday where they will go into isolation for 14 days before returning to their homes.
