NIGERIA'S federal government has announced an upward review of international passport fees with effect from September 1 this year increasing the cost of acquiring a 32-page five year booklet to N50,000 from N35,000.

We should be prepared to think the unthinkable and push the boundaries of human know-how to breaking point. Maybe a new national agency, think tank or policy unit is needed to get us thinking along such lines

First of all it was human cargo in the form of slaves and then it later became palm oil once the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade was abolished in 1833.
