(1) If you ask me, having Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the head of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) makes it imperative that Nigeria becomes a serious player in the global economy. It is highly embarrassing that Africa accounts for 18% of the world’s population by only 3% of its trade. It now falls to Nigeria to correct this imbalance

(1) Governors of the six largest states in the country - Niger, Borno, Taraba, Kaduna, Yobe and Bauchi are all mandated to immediately set aside 5,000 sq kilometres to be used to construct mega ranches to accommodate Fulani herdsmen
(2) Each geo-political zone is to establish a regional security network along the lines of Amotekun to work in tandem with the police and military to combat the surge in violent crime

(2) Like the Paris Climate agreement, it should set goals for global livestock and animal feed production with the aim of ensuring every human has access to meat and a sufficient protein diet
