Adeboye issues warning to RCCG members about the way they dress when coming to church

REDEEMED Christian Church of God (RCCG) general overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye has issued fresh directives to the female members of his parish to watch the watch the way they dress while on the camp's ground.

Nigeria's biggest church, RCCG has one of the biggest camp sites in the world at its headquarters in Ogun State. Addressing church members on the need to be mindful of the way they dress, Pastor Adeboye warned residents and guests that the RCCG leadership has resolved to sanction anyone found culpable of defying the rules guiding the campground.

He issued the warning in an official memo which was published by church spokesman Oladele Balogun. It read in part:  “We wish to formally inform all residents of Redemption City that, in our commitment to preserving the city’s sanctity and upholding its esteemed Holy City status, the mission authority is implementing stricter measures against indecent dressing throughout the city."

Redemption City formerly known as Redemption Camp is the RCCG international campground. It is where the church holds conferences and special programmes and is packed with worshippers on a daily basis.
