Spurs mull making a move for Luton Town Gabriel Osho during the summer transfer window

ENGLISH Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspurs are said to be considering making a mover for Nigeria-eligible central defender Gabriel Osho who has just enjoyed his first season in the top flight with Luton Town equipping himself well.

During his debit season in the English top flight, Osho, 25, has been superb for Luton Town and his performances even earned him a call-up to the Nigerian national team. However, Luton face the threat of going back down again and if they get relegated, several Premier League clubs will be looking to sigh Osho, who is apparently available on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou hopes to bolster his options ahead of the 2024/25 season, as continental football is now a near certainty. Tottenham have enjoyed an improved campaign from last term and are battling Aston Villa to secure a place in the Premier League's top four and subsequent qualification to the Uefa Champions League.

Over the last two seasons, Spurs have signed Micky Van de Ven and Radu Dragusin but are still looking to add to their depth at the back.  They are hoping that Osho will shore up the squad but are not the only side looking at him as Aston Villa and Fulham are said to also be eyeing the centreback.
