Given the growing insecurity in Nigeria with the birth of a new sect of armed bandits called Lakurawa and Boko Haram/Iswap resuming their reign of terror in the northeast, the National Assembly should pass this Nigerian Security Act 2025

[1] as from 2025, Nigeria must start manufacturing all our armaments locally in a bid to guarantee supplies

[2] Our Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs must commence the process of building border posts that can be effectively policed

[3] Our chief of defence staff is mandated to establish a special forces commando unit similar to say the British SAS or the US Navy Seals across all three branches of the Nigerian armed forces

[4] Our state governments are mandated to build factories, leisure and sports facilities so our youth stop congregating in mosques and churches where they get indoctrinated

[5] Nationally,we must bring police remuneration up to par with that of the armed forces

[6] Our Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment must immediately launch an unprecedented public works programme to get something like 30m people back into work

[7] We must get our clergymen working on investment projects so they have less time and energy to mislead our youth. Every member of Boko Haram was initially influenced by some misguided imam for instance

[8] We must create a special anti-terrorist unit within the Nigeria Police Force

[9] We will decentralise our military structure so that local army battalions have their own airborne divisions with their own aircraft and pilots

[10] As a nation, we must never allow the illiteracy rate to rise above 10% in any state
