I would like the Nigerian Governors Forum to agree on this programme of action during the course of 2025 with each of its members signing up to implementing this

[1] Developing a commercial hub with a financial district in his state capital

[2] Build at least one industrial park in each local government area

[3] Turn at least one local government area into a tourist zone

[4] Open at least one technical college in each local government area

[5] Build at least one general hospital in each local government area

[6] Construct a state-wide railway network

[7] Give your trade and industry commissioner a minimum target of attracting $1bn a year in foreign direct investment

[8] Set yourself a minimum target of generating at least twice your state budget locally

[9] Task your power commissioner with ensuring that the state is self-reliant when it comes to power supply

[10] Aim for a minimum literacy rate of 90%
