ENGLISH Premier League side Fulham gas become the latest European club to enquire about the services of Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare with a view to signing him ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Now one of the hottest properties in European football, Arokodare, 24, has impressed for his current clubside Genk in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League club since joining them from Latvian side Valmiera FC in January 2023. He scored 23 goals and provided seven assists in 45 games last season, attracting the attention of numerous clubsides.
A towering six foot six targetman, Arokodare, who has four caps for Nigeria, scored his first goal for the Super Eagles during a recent friendly in Russia, when he scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw. This has led to several English Premier League clubs like newly-promoted Burnley and Newcastle United enquiring about his services and now, Fulham have joined the fray.
Fulham consider the Nigeria international as a serious candidate to replace Rodrigo Muniz, as he currently has a lot of suitors and is rumoured to be leaving the London club. According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, a move to Fulham remains the most concrete possibility for Arokodare, ahead of all the other suitors.
