Automatic impeachment proceedings should be initiated against any state governor or president who espouses any of the following ideas as they are guaranteed to keep us perpetually under-developed

[1] Continues to espouse the dependence on the federal allocation formula which ties Nigeria’s fortunes to crude oil exports indefinitely

[2] Advocates further prospecting for crude oil at a time when the whole world is moving towards clean energy

[3] Seeks to keep Nigerians divided along ethnic and primordial lines

[4] Seeks to fuel religious divisions or brings matters of faith into government

[5] Espouses misogynistic or sexist views aimed at keeping women in perpetual bondage

[6] Fails to at least generate his or her government’s running costs over a 12 month period

[7] Fails to attract at least $1m in foreign direct investment annually

[8] Fails to bring literacy levels up to at least 60% of the populace after a four year term

[9] Fails to build at least one general hospital in each local government area of the state

[10] Insists on holding on to 19th century economic practices such as open grazing, digging wells, allowing the construction of mud huts, etc
