Automatic impeachment proceedings should be initiated against any state governor or president of Nigeria who espouses any of the following ideas that keep us perpetually under-developed

[1] One who continues to espouse the dependence on the federal allocation formula which ties Nigeria’s fortunes to crude oil indefinitely

[2] Anyone who advocates further prospecting for crude oil at a time when the whole world is moving towards clean energy

[3] One who seeks to keep Nigerians divided along ethnic and primordial lines

[4] One who seeks to fuel religious divisions or brings matters of faith into government

[5] One who espouses misogynistic or sexist views aimed at keeping women in perpetual bondage

[6] Anyone who fails to at least generate his or her government’s running costs over a 12 month period

[7] Anyone who fails to attract at least $1m in foreign direct investment annually

[8] Anyone who fails to bring literacy levels up to at least 60% of the populace after a four year term

[9] Anyone who fails to build at least one general hospital in each local government area of the state

[10] Anyone who insists on holding on to 19th century economic practices such as open grazing, digging wells, allowing the construction of mud huts, etc
