Aina and Awoniyi to play under fourth manager this season as Forest sack Sean Dyche

SUPER Eagles duo Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi are set to work under a new manager after their club Nottingham Forest confirmed the dismissal of Sean Dyche following yesterday's goalless draw with bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Currently sitting in 17th place, just above the relegation places, Forest are facing a real threat of losing their Premier league status this season. Aina is a regular starter for the side, while Awoniyi tends to come off the bench most times but of late, the team has suffered a huge slump in form.

Last Friday, Forest lost 1-3 away to Leeds and then yesterday, they were unable to beat bottom side Wolves at home, prompting club chairman Evangelos Marinakis to sack Mr Dyche, after just 114 days and 25 games in charge. Forest have had three managers so far this season and Sean Dyche has the best win percentage of any of them.

This morning, Nottingham Forest issued a statement announcing an end to Mr Dyche’s tenure after a run of three consecutive league matches without a victory. In the statement, the club expressed appreciation to Mr Dyche and his backroom staff for their commitment and efforts during their time at the City Ground, wishing them success in their future endeavours.

In yesterday's game against Wolves, Aina played the full 90 minutes while Awoniyi remained an unused substitute. Compatriot Tolu Arokodare started the match for Wolves and also played all 90 minutes for the away side.

Since joining Forest, Aina and Awoniyi have played under Nuno Espírito Santo, Ange Postecoglou and Dyche and will now serve under a fourth manager. For Awoniyi, who has endured limited game time, the change presents a fresh opportunity to impress and re-establish himself after a challenging spell at the club.
