Osimhen, 27, joined Galatasaray from Italian giants Napoli, after a planned move to English Premier League side Chelsea collapsed. Since he moved to Turkey, however, there has been a lot of speculation regarding his future because many football commentators that Osimhen will end up playing in one of the big leagues like England, Spain, France or Germany.

Of late, Osimhen has been linked with several of Europe's elite and Arsenal in particular have been mentioned because they have s striker crisis. Sections of the Turkish media reported that Arsenal's sporting director, Andrea Berta, was recently spotted at Rams Park, the Galatasaray training ground.

It had been reported that the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid had all sent scouts to monitor Osimhen during the recent Istanbul derby against Fernebahce. Arsenal are now thought to be desperate for a top striker, as they are facing the prospect of losing out on the Premier League title again due to inadequate firepower upfront.

Viktor Gyökeres, the Swedish striker Arsenal signed from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon last summer, has failed to ignite the league. Unfortunately, the Swedish forward has struggled to remain consistent and is not showing the kind of class title rivals are getting from their main striker Erling Haaland.

If Arsenal finish the season without silverware, a squad overhaul is expected and adding Osimhen to the frontline cannot be ruled out. Odumodublvck took to social media to express his enthusiasm for the potential transfer.
