National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes throws its weight behind Saraki's presidential bid

SEX workers have thrown their weight behind senate president Senator Bukola Saraki after the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (Nanp) declared it will support his candidature in next year's presidential elections.

This week, Senator Saraki declared that he will be a candidate in next February's presidential elections, pointing out that he will seek the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Barely 24 hours after Senator Saraki declared his intention to run for the office of the president, Nanp called on all Nigerians to back him to ensure he emerged as the victor on the 2019 elections.

Nanp president Tamar Tion, described the current situation under the leadership of the All Progressives Congress as hell on earth. She added that since the new government came on board in 2015, things became terrible for  her members as they suffered from low patronage due to the bad economy.

Ms Tion said: “We are supporting Alhaji Bukola Saraki because he’s a man we can trust. Nigeria needs someone who is smart and can bring about change in the nation and not change by mouth.

“We are disappointed in this government because since they came on board, we have been living in hell on earth and things have gone so bad. People no longer patronise us because there is no money anywhere.

“We need a real change and we think Saraki is the right man, not this baba go-slow. We shall be mobilising our members in the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory ahead of the election.”

In 2015, Nanp declared three days of free sex across the country following the victory of President Buhari. However, the association is now disillusioned with his government as the much-expected economic boom it had expected did not materialise.
