Adeboye warns RCCG members not to buy memorabilia with his image on them as it is against God's will

REDEEMED Christian Church of God (RCCG) general overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye has warned church members to stop buying any item that displays his picture as such icons go against the will of God.

Speaking at the ongoing Holy Ghost Congress 2018 at Mowe in Ogun State, Pastor Adeboye said he had nothing to do with the items such as stickers, key holders and books containing his picture which are currently on sale. He added that he did not approve anyone to use his picture on key holders, stickers and other items.

Pastor Adeboye said: “I am human, I am not God and I am not ready to take the glory of God. What these people are doing can lead to trouble for me, for God will not share his glory with anyone.

"If someone shares Glory with God, the person is as good as dead. If you see anyone selling any item with my picture or my wife’s picture on it, report them to the police.”

RCCG is the biggest church in Nigeria with millions of followers. Pastor Adeboye is estimated by Forbes to have a net worth of between $39m and $65m, with RCCG estimated to earn him at least $2m a year.
