Man United teenager Max Oyedele caught in three-way tussle involving Poland and England

NIGERIAN teenager Max Oyedele has become the latest footballer to be involved in a three-way battle for his services at international level as England and Poland are both interested in getting him to feature for them as a senior.

Oyedele, 17, was born in Manchester, making him eligible to play for England but he also qualifies to play for Nigeria through his father. Just as the youngster was considering his options, a third complication has emerged, with Poland calling up the midfielder into its youth team.

Born to a Polish mother, Oyedele has been called into Poland's under-18 side for an upcoming international fixtures. It is uncertain if Oyedele will accept the call but this would be his first call-up to represent any of the three nations he is eligible for.

This season Oyedele has played a total of 17 matches for his club Manchester United at youth level, which has included games in the Uefa Youth League. He recently made his under-23 debut in a win over Derby Country, coming on as a late substitute.
