Nigeria-eligible teenager David Ozoh included in Palace's match day squad for tomorrow's game

CRYSTAL Palace manager Patrick Viera has included Nigeria-eligible teenage midfielder David Ozoh in their first team squad for tomorrow's English Premier League game against Fulham at Selhurst Park.

In a development that could see the 17 year old make his Premier League debut, Mr Viera decided to promote the Valencia-born midfielder to first team training ahead of tomorrow's game. Ozoh and another teenager of Nigerian descent Tayo Adaramola, were among the academy stars to train with the senior squad this week and will be aiming to catch the eye of the coaching staff.

Ozoh has been tipped for a first team breakthrough at Palace, highlighted by the fact that he has already trained with the senior squad several times this season and received his first call-up to the senior team in their Carabao Cup third round clash against Newcastle United at St James' Park. In addition, Mr Vieira named him on the roster for the club's pre-season tour of Australia and Singapore.

In pre-season games, the talented teenager featured off the bench against Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool and started against Leeds United at the Optus Stadium. This season, Ozoh has represented Palace in six different competitions including the FA Youth Cup, Premier League Two, Premier League Cup, Premier League International Cup, Papa Johns Trophy and U18 Premier League.

More regular Nigeria-eligible players Michael Olise and Malcolm Ebiowei have also trained with Crystal Palace ahead of their upcoming clash. Tomorrow, the Premier League resumes after a break for the World Cup, with a round of Boxing Day fixtures.
