Rather than waste all that time and energy on currency redesigns, Nigeria should have sought to cash in on the Russia-Ukraine war by stepping up the production of the following goods

[2] Barley

[3] Rye

[4] Palladium

[5] Maize

[6] Nickel

[7] Copper

[8] Gas

[9] Electric transport trucks

[10] Microchips

Are we thinking at all? There is a global scarcity of all these goods due to the war, giving us a perfect opportunity to expand production, boost gross domestic product and grow our economy.

Rather than do that, we are faffing around with a currency redesign. To add insult to injury, we made a right mess of the whole process!
