Davido secretly marries his lover Chioma away from the preying eyes of the public

AFROBEAT star David Adeleke popularly known as Davido appears to have secretly married his lover Chioma Rowland at a private ceremony beyond the preying eyes of the public and the paparazzi.

Davido, who has four children from several women, was engaged to Chioma, the mother of his third child but early last year, the engagement was called off. Davido, 30, had proposed to Chioma but things went sour after news broke out that the singer fathered a fourth child with American model and make-up artiste Larissa London.

However, in September last year, the couple appeared to get back again and were seen together at several high profile public events. Chioma then stepped out in style for Davido’s 30Bg concert in September, wearing a customized 30BG pendant that Davido gifted each member of his team.

Since then, speculation about the couple has been rife but yesterday, Davido confirmed they had got married in an interview with media personality, Kiekie. Davido, who took a break from social media after he lost his son, Ifeanyi, said he needed to do that so he could take time to reflect.

Davido said: “I have never ever taken this kind of break. Just being away and I have had a lot to think about. It was a time to rest, reflect, a lot of family time, time to make music again.

“I remade the album. Before I went on the break I actually had an album already. I had a tour already but we did the album, I travelled, I am married.”
