Tayo Adaramola nominated for March Premier League Two Player of the Month award

NIGERIA-eligible fullback Tayo Adaramola has been shortlisted for the March Premier League Two Player of the Month award following his recent sterling performances with the Crystal Palace youth team.

Adaramola, 19, who plays as a leftback cum wingback, has been in fine form of late, helping the Palace youth team record victories in back-to-back tricky fixtures against Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea. Playing the full 90 minutes on all of the matches, he even  provided one assist, producing a cross which was volleyed in by compatriot Ademola Ola-Adebomi in a 2-0 win over Arsenal on March 17.

That assist took Adaramola's goal involvements to two for the season in the division, having also registered one for the match-winning goal against Liverpool back in January. It is thus no surprise that he was among seven players who have been nominated for the Premier League Two Player of the Month award, selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel.

Other nominees are Kian Breckin (Manchester City), Luca Barrington (Brighton & Hove Albion), Mason Burstow (Chelsea), Sonny Perkins (Leeds United), Jeremy Sivi (Middlesbrough) and Layton Stewart (Liverpool). Adaramola will be aiming to continue his impressive form tomorrow on Good Friday when Crystal Palace face Blackburn Rovers in a league fixture.
