However you look at it, the only way Nigeria will get out of this economic rut is to become a producer and exporter of industrial and consumer goods. Our watchwords have got to be manufacturing, manufacturing, manufacturing.

I hope Bola Tinubu realises that Nigeria only has an annual budget of $30bn but needs to spend $100bn a year. Unless we start manufacturing, our national debt will just keep growing.

During the last election campaign, none of the presidential candidates for once mentioned a plan to acquire industrial technology. Every serious nation they wants to industrialise has to acquire technology by any means necessary.
