TOSIN Adarabioyo could be on his way to France next season as Fulham have received offers for his services from French Le Championet sides Monaco and Rennes who are both keen to sign him up during the summer transfer window.
Adarabioyo, 25, has caught the attention of both clubs, after enjoying a decent season in the English Premier League Other suitors from Italy and England have also expressed their interest in the talented former Manchester City prodigy but they may all have a fight on their hands as the centreback is highly valued by his current club.
Fulham made it clear in January that they were determined to keep Adarabioyo in their ranks, having exercised the option in his contract to extend his stay at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2024. That decision was based on the centreback's remarkable contributions since joining the club from Manchester City in 2020, amassing an impressive 107 appearances for the Cottagers.
Under manager Marco Silva, Fulham finished 10th in the Premier League during their triumphant return to the top division after winning the Championship last season. Yet, the allure of European football may prove enticing to Adarabioyo, with Rennes qualifying for the Europa League.
Serie A giants Inter Milan were also reportedly interested in Adarabioyo, although his international future is a little less certain. Adarabioyo always had his eyes set on playing for England but he is yet to receive a call-up and the Nigeria Football Federation has not hidden its desire to have him feature for the Super Eagles.
