Nigeria ranked 91st happiest country in the world by UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network

NIGERIA has been ranked as the 91st happiest nation on earth according to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Solutions Network’s (SDSN) 2018 World Happiness Report published this week.

 

In the report published today, Finland was ranked the happiest nation on earth, with Burundi at the bottom of the happiness index. Rather surprisingly, the survey also found that Americans were getting less happy even as their country became richer.

Unidentified Nigerian man jumps to his death at Heathrow to avoid being deported

AN unidentified man believed to be a Nigerian facing deportation from the UK is said to have jumped to his death at Heathrow Airport just as immigration officials were leading him towards a plane to take him to Lagos.

 

Over the weekend, the man was being escorted to a plane to deport him to Nigeria but in the early hours of Saturday decided to take his life rather than face deportation. He jumped down from the level from where he was to the one below and died instantly.
