MILITARY chiefs have unveiled a new light tactical automobile manufactured by the Nigerian Army Vehicle Manufacturing Company (Navmc) to help address the country's growing security challenges.
Of late, kidnapping has become very rife in Nigeria as armed men, mainly Fulani have taken over many of the country's motorways. They adduct passengers and hold them hostage in forest camps until ransoms are paid and if their families do not pay up, they kill them and dump their bodies in rivers.

AFROBEAT king Femi Anikulapo-Kuti will be one of the three musicians performing at the opening ceremony of the 32nd African Cup of Nations tournament kicking off in Egypt tomorrow.
Femi, a four-time Grammy award nominee, will be joined by two other musicians, Hakim from Egypt and Dobet Gnahore from Ivory Coast. This year's expanded African Cup of Nations involving 24 teams, which lasts until July 19, will be preceded with a colourful opening ceremony.
