Jehovah the Mightier Than All Prophetic Church pastor posts pictures of him turning water to wine like Jesus

JEHOVAH the Mightier Than All Prophetic Church Onitsha general overseer Pastor Ebelenna Chukwu has claimed to have turned water into wine just as Jesus did in the bible during a recent service in his parish.

Regarded as the country with the highest number of evangelical churches in the world, Nigeria has seen an explosion of such faith houses over the last 30 years. Attracting millions of followers, these evangelical churches are seen as the ideal substitute for a lack of state social services and people throng there seeking solutions to their p0lethora of socio-economic problems.

Yesterday, Pastor Chukwu reportedly turned the water into wine at his church in Onitsha and posted a video of the act on his Facebook page. In the video, Pastor Chukwu was later seen sharing the wine to members of his church with a cup each from the bowl of alleged wine, announcing that anyone who does not believe in the miracle is the anti-Christ.

Pastor Chukwu wrote: "Water turned into wine live in the church programme. If you don’t believe you are anti-Christ.

"Mark 9:23: Jesus said unto him, if thou can't believe all things are possible to him that believeth. John 14:12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my father.

"John 20:29: Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed, blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed. Corinthians 5:7: For we walk by faith, not by sight, Romans 8:24: For we are saved by hope but hope that is seen is not hope, for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?"

He quoted the bible further to state that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. This is not the first a Nigerian evangelical clergyman has claimed to have been able to perform biblical miracles, with several others having alleged that that they have raised the dead, fasted for 40 days and 40 nights and cured the ill by just laying their hands on them.
