Regal World Entertainment to premier Nigerian movie MaQueen in Romford on October 12

NIGERIAN showbusiness organisation Regal World Entertainment plans to take London by storm on Friday October 12 with the showing of the premier of hilarious movie MaQueen aimed at highlighting African culture.

 

Packed with plenty of culture and moral lessons, the film will be shown at Premiere Cinemas, located at the Mercury Shopping Centre in Romford. Among the actors who will feature in the film include Femi Adebayo, Baba Wande, Moji Bishi, Sanyeri, Golugo, Lanko, Joke Muyiwa and Doyin Amodu.

 

Directed by Yemi Amodu, the screening of the film will start at 9pm, although the doors to the cinema will open at 7pm when the red carpet will begin. Project manager, Ademola Ibrahim, said that the premiere whose gate fee is only £20, is a must-watch for all those interested in African culture.

Shot at various locations across Nigeria and the UK, MaQueen is seeking to build on the growing influence of Nollywood across Britain. Over recent years, Nollywood has made significant inroads into the UK market as it seeks to use the platform of the 2m-strong Nigerian diaspora community to hit the mainstream.
