Nollywood actress Olive Utalor rejects marriage proposal because it did not come with a car

NOLLYWOOD actress Olive Utalor has revealed that she will never accept a marriage proposal from a man unless it comes with a car pointing out that she has already rejected several offers because of it.

Highly controversial Utalor, revealed that she recently refused to get married to her fiancé because he failed to deliver on a promise to buy her a car. Pointing out that her fiancé had supported her through school, she said she had no regrets about not marrying him as she finds it disgusting that she would have to walk under the sun as a married woman.

Utalor added: “On my birthday last year he promised me a car and now he wants me to get married to him without a car, it’s not proper. I don’t care if he has supported me through school but I can’t be trekking under the sun when I am somebody ‘s wife, so he should go and look for his class.”

Apparently  Utalor’s fiancé is a civil servant, a primary school teacher and her reaction so much disconcerted him that he contemplated taking his own life. Apparently he was said to have stood on a road perplexed, waiting for a car to run into him.

“I can’t pretend that he is right for me. Yes, he saw me through the early stages of my tertiary education but that doesn’t mean we are right for each other.

"If he cannot get me a car there can be no marriage. I’m not being callous, I’m just being true to myself,” Utalor added.

An up and coming actress, the Delta State-born Utalor is quietly making her imprint on the landscape of the movie industry as she has featured in some really good films recently. Some of the most recent films she featured in include Yahoo King, Hope of Glory, Loving Soul, My Pregnant Daughter, Cursed and many others.
