Ipob members storm ambassador's residence in Tokyo with doctor saying they want to carry out DNA test on Buhari

MEMBERS of the Indigenous People of Biafra (Ipob) have stormed the Nigerian ambassador in Japan's residence in search of President Muhammadu Buhari claiming that they want to arrest him and arrest him over to the Japanese police.

Earlier this month, the former deputy senate president Senator Ekweremadu, the lawmaker representing Enugu West Senatorial District, was due to be the guest speaker at the New Yam Festival of the Igbo community in Nuremburg in Germany.  However, he was physically assaulted by Ipob members, with his top torn to shreds, as the separatist group vented their anger on him, forcing the senator to flee the venue.

Since then, Ipob has threatened to step up its attacks on public dignitaries who travel abroad. With President Buhari arriving in Japan for a summit, Ipob members have flooded into the country from all over Asia, promising to stage a massive protest and disrupt his stay in Tokyo but so far, his trip has gone by peacefully.

Today, the Ipob militants stormed the ambassador's residence in Tokyo, saying they would arrest President Buhari for being an imposter as he really is Jubril from Sudan. Claiming they came with their own doctor, the Ipob activists said they wanted to carry out a DNA test on President Buhari to ensure it is really him that is in Japan.

However, the Japanese authorities had got wind of the protest and subsequently mobilised large numbers of policemen to the ambassador's residence. After a bit of negotiating, the police allowed the Ipob team to press the buzzer but when nobody answered, they just recorded a six minute video and left.
