However you cut it Nigeria simply needs to use her mega churches as economic revival centres

(1) Use them as micro finance banks
(2) Use them as tax collection centres
(3) Use them as metal collection centres
(4) Get them to act as mini industrial centres
(5) Put all tithes into an investment portfolio
(6) Use them as technical training centres
(7) Use their members as community volunteers
(8) State governments should pay them to run schools in which education is free
(9) Get them to run health and immunisation centres
(10) Get them to pool their resources and form a conglomerate called Man of God PLC that will become an industrial conglomerate

I challenge anyone else to come up with a better alternative right now. I see no other way in which we increase our GDP from the current paltry $375bn to $1trn within the next five years.

When you have about 50m people paying 10% of their earnings into a pool, it is a resource that is invaluable. Sadly, Nigeria is not tapping into it
