Trump plans to hold series of nationwide rallies as part of his ongoing defiance campaign

PRESIDENT Donald Trump is planning to hold a series of nationwide rallies over the coming weeks as part of his ongoing fight against the recent election results which showed he lost to former vice president Joe Biden.

On Saturday, Mr Biden of the Democratic Party was declared the winner of the US presidential election, with over 75.6m votes to President Trump's 71m votes. However, President Trump of the Republican Party has refused to accept the election results and has instituted several legal actions seeking to get the result overturned.

However, there appears to be a consensus across the US that Mr Biden won and even global leaders have been sending the former vice president congratulatory messages. Under pressure to drop his opposition to Mr Biden's victory and concede defeat, President Trump has remained defiant and is now planning to take his case to his fanatical supporters across the country.

President Trump has filed multiple court papers against vote count in different states, including Georgia, Nevada, Arizona and Pennsylvania. Now, his campaign plans to take the less traditional path to challenging the results of the election, including holding a series of Trump rallies focused on the ongoing legal efforts in numerous states across the country.

Alongside the rallies, President Trump is also planning to use obituaries of people who allegedly voted but were actually dead as evidence of the voter fraud he’s been claiming. His campaign is also sending recount teams to Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania, with Representative Doug Collins, heading up the efforts in Georgia.

President Trump and his campaign have levelled accusations of large-scale voter fraud in Pennsylvania and other states that Mr Biden won but so far has been able to provide any proof. Already, numerous courts have thrown out many of the president's suits for lacking in merit.
