In a development that portends a dangerous breakdown in community relations Nka Ikemesit Mkparawa Essien Efik Duob-Eba has sent its order to the Eze Ndigbo in writing. Apparently, Nka Ikemesit Mkparawa Essien Efik Duob-Eba operates from the palace of the Obong of Calabar, making the threat very poignant.

“For insulting the Obong of Calabar, calling yourself or making yourself the Obong of Calabar, when the Obong of Calabar is on the throne, we give you seven days to leave the town,” the statement read. Apparently, the incident occurred at an event on March 27 when an award was given to Innoson Motors at the University of Calabar.
