West Ham join the list of clubs considering buying Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu

ENGLISH Premier League side West Ham have joined the list of clubs looking to sign Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu as manager David Moyes sees the Genk forward as someone who can strengthen his attack next season.

Onuachu, 27, has had a very impressive season in the Belgian Juliper League where he has scored 35 goals in 41 games for Genk. With Michail Antonio being the only recognised senior centre forward option at West Ham, Mr Motes knows he needs to strengthen his attack next season, especially as the Hammers will be playing in the Europa League.

Capped 13 times for Nigeria, Onuachu who stands at 6ft 7inches is an absolute giant who is a menace in the air. He also has a phenomenal scoring record, finding the back of the net 124 times in 263 games over the course of his senior career since 2012.

It is believed he could be available for around £25m this summer, although West Ham make think hard about parting with that kind of cash for a player with no Premier League experience. Onuachu has scored three time for Nigeria, with his latest goal coming in a 3-0 win over Lesotho in March.
