Osinbajo successfully undergoes surgery in Lagos hospital for long-standing leg problem

VICE president Professor Yemi Osinbajo has successfully undergone surgery on a  leg injury at the Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja the Lagos State capital in a big departure from the trend of politicians receiving medical treatment abroad.

According to doctors who performed the surgical operation on the vice president, the procedure was needed to treat the recurrent pain caused by a fracture in his leg. Dr Adedoyin Dosunmu-Ogunbi, the medical director of Duchess International Hospital, said that the vice president is alert and well after the operation.
